By the age of 10 little Smash137 had already painted his first wall and started to chase his own artistic dragons.
By the late 1980’s American culture had turned kids all over the world into apprentices in a tradition that’s still alive, evolving, and rewritten everyday to this day. Especially when a culture is created and practiced by generations it’s in constant flux, every few years a new group surfaces to outdo their older counterparts and build on what they have learned.
Smash137 grew up mimicking and learning from a culture that he admired and connected with, he has now grown to become one of the most well known artists in the global movement through his distinctive style and application.
It’s a perfect evolutionary cycle where the foreign apprentice becomes the master and the master continues to tirelessly push himself and his craft forward creating authentic work for new generations.
